Attention: Because the outer diameter of each step of the step drill is gradually expanded, then the corresponding cutting resistance and linear velocity will also be gradually increased.
Owing to the step drill is completely dependent on the inclined edge that is only 1mm in length, If the feed speed is too fast when drilling, it will be easily to be annealing caused by abrasion of the oblique edge.
Please give a downward force when drilling, do not press down too hard to avoid the edge wearing.
Suitable material: Workpieces with general hardness, such as wood, plastic, PVC plate, iron plate, and plate thickness within 3MM. Please note that stainless steel and spring steel are not applicable. Not for quenching. it's a good set I haven't got to use them to drill anything yet but if I do and they're not any count I will try to make a review but so far they look just like any other ones I've ever had so hopefully they will work the same but for the price you really can't beat it I recommend store all day everyday

I have purchased these before and loved them work well to enlarge holes in wood or light metal, I tried to make a hole in a light piece of metal, and it melted the tip on one but if there is a hole it will boar it out no problem
