The funnel is made of silicone but it came bent and no matter what I try it won't change shape. This renders it useless as it doesn't fit to the shape of your body. The bottle is handy with a flip lid and I will use that with another funnel. It did not leak when tested with water but it has no seal so I wouldn't trust it in a bag/car unless it was upright.
